Johnny’s Story
Johnny Mulqueen's journey began in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship and technology at a young age. As a teenager, he started creating websites, making his first $20k at 15 years old. Inspired by his grandfather's legacy as a printmaker and his own experiences in web design, Johnny combined his love for technology with a keen understanding of finance to embark on a path of entrepreneurial success.
hroughout his early career, Johnny gained valuable experience working in various roles, from finance to technology, and even briefly working in the Irish Parliament. Early on, Johnny gained valuable leadership experience, learning both what to do and what not to do as a leader who wants to create a positive legacy through business. These experiences shaped his perspective and instilled in him a deep-seated belief in the power of entrepreneurship to drive positive change in the world.
Soon after, Johnny embarked on a world travel adventure, gaining more experience in the classroom of the world. Whether it was working at a tomato factory, backpacking through Thailand, or undertaking a social impact program in Kenya, Johnny has learned the how behind making change possible.
Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the business world, Johnny joined the financial industry, receiving trade licenses such as Series 7, 63, 65, and SIE. Johnny has successfully navigated the intricate landscapes of finance and investment, working with renowned institutions such as Vanguard, MFS, Merrill Lynch, and Bluestone Capital Management.

n 2018, Johnny co-founded Alden Investment Group, a wealth management firm with two RIAs and one broker-dealer. Under his leadership, Alden grew from $50 million to $2.5 billion. As COO, Johnny played a key role in expanding the core team to 20 members, led business development, and spearheaded the launch of several products. He also developed operational systems, implemented new technology, and oversaw financial models, contract negotiations, and compliance while guiding the firm's strategic direction.
Now, Johnny works with entrepreneurs, creators, and founders to grow and scale the operations of their businesses.
